Bollywood actor Shreyas Talpade was informed to cancel his marriage ceremony by director Nagesh Kukunoor. The director couldn’t let the viewers know that the actor isn’t a teen, like his character in Iqbal.
In an interview with Times Of India, the actor mentioned, “Right here I used to be, a middle-class man whose marriage ceremony playing cards had gone out, being informed to cancel it; I didn’t know what to do. It was after quite a lot of convincing, and assuring him that I’d hold the marriage beneath wraps, that he let me have a day without work.”
He added that even the film’s producer Subhash Ghai wasn’t aware of his marriage ceremony.
Later when his spouse wished to attend the premiere of the film, she got here as his sister. “When Subhash ji noticed her one too many occasions at screenings and enquired, Nagesh informed him who she actually was. He refused to consider I used to be married. To him, I used to be an 18-year-old boy who had had a baby marriage and was not even feeding his spouse, making her faint (laughs).”
