‘Deepavali isn’t Jashn-e-Riwaaz’, BJP’s Tejasvi Surya Slams Fabindia for ‘Deliberate Misadventures’


BJP chief Tejasvi Surya on Monday objected to clothes model Fabindia’s advert marketing campaign, referring to Diwali as ‘Jashn-e-Riwaaz’, saying that it’s “deliberate misadventures”. In a tweet, Surya stated that Fabindia “should face financial prices for such deliberate misadventures”.

“Deepavali will not be Jashn-e-Riwaaz. This deliberate try of abrahamisation of Hindu festivals, depicting fashions with out conventional Hindu attires, have to be referred to as out,” Surya, the nationwide president of BJP Yuva Morcha, stated in a tweet.

Fabindia has now deleted its unique tweet.
