Nagpur, Oct 13: Nagpur police have registered a case in opposition to a restoration agent of a non-public monetary providers firm for allegedly duping its 37 prospects of Rs 8.70 lakh, an official stated on Wednesday. The accused was recognized as Maninder Singh Sukhdev Singh Multani, a resident of Nagpur and a local of Haryana.
“Multani labored as a restoration agent of the corporate. He had collected money from the shoppers but it surely was not credited into the corporate’s account. He had issued bogus receipts to the shoppers,” the official stated. The fraud occurred from July 2020 to January 2021, following which the accused left the town, he stated.
