Sri Lanka’s Lahiru Kumara, Bangladesh’s Liton Das Fined After Heated Exchange In T20 World Cup Clash

Sri Lanka pacer Lahiru Kumara and Bangladesh opener Liton Das have been fined by the Worldwide Cricket Council (ICC) after the duo clashed throughout their T20 World Cup match in Sharjah on Sunday. The 2 gamers had a heated change on Sunday after Kumara dismissed Liton within the early levels of the sport. The duo needed to be separated by teammates amid the altercation. The incident befell when Liton was strolling away from the pitch after shedding his wicket. The ICC introduced that Lahiru and Liton have been fined 25% and 15% of their match charges, respectively.

Sri Lanka would go on to win Sunday’s match by 5 wickets. The islanders chased down Bangladesh’s goal of 172 with seven balls to spare.
